legacy nights

Legacy Nights meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month. It is a time for all to come together for fellowship and grow as disciples of Christ.

Legacy Nights begins with a provided dinner each meeting at 5:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall, with a variety of classes, children's programs, and youth programs following at 6:15 pm.

Legacy Nights Classes

  • Discerning the voice of God

This bible study is open to both men and women.  If hearing God has seemed challenging, Priscilla Shirer invites you to explore a more intimate relationship with Him, one that can make hearing Him, His will, His heart, and His voice your ongoing experience.  This study will help you discover how you can listen with greater confidence, clarity, and discernment.

  • Craft Group

Join the women’s crafting group for a time of fellowship and crafting. The group makes a different craft each week.

  • Calvin College January Series viewing

Each session will be a viewing of previous January Series on current topics.

  • Belgic Confession

The Belgic Confession, which is a foundational document for the The River Church and Christian Reformed Churches, was written in 1561; this was a time of great upheaval and persecution as the newly founded “reformation” churches were breaking off from Catholicism.  Political and cultural pressures on these “reformed” believers were creating great difficulties for their faith and their lives.  Though we live many years later, we face similar pressures and difficulties, and the teachings of the Belgic Confession can encourage us to live for Jesus Christ each day.  Nathan Banks will be reviewing these important teachings.
